Whether your dog is restless, alone for long hours at home, in need of socialization, or simply bored, our quality daycare can help! The Barking Dog has developed great programs aimed at filling the void in socialization and exercise experienced by dogs today. We are proud and excited to offer facilities and programs unmatched by most daycares. All sites offer sport-turfed outdoor play areas to ensure your dog stays safe and clean. Indoor programs are conducted in spacious, climate controlled rooms, equipped with shock absorbent, non-slip flooring; perfect for active play. The dogs also participate in outdoor swim time in the morning, so that they have plenty of time to dry off before pick up!
Grooming & Spa Services
Full-grooming services are available for all breeds of dogs and cats.
The Barking Dog in Scottsdale offers full-groming services available for all breeds of dogs and cats. In addition to bathing and clipping, we offer dematting, medicated, flea, de-skunking and FURminator treatments. If you wish to have your pet groomed while boarding, we encourage you to make arrangements when you book your pet’s stay. All pets groomed during a three or more night stay receive a 20% discount on their groom.

The Barking Dog would like to guide pet parents in developing better relationships with
their pets. To achieve endless behavior health and happiness through enhanced
understanding, consistency, and patience, imparted through private lessons, group classes
and special workshops. We can help improve behavior, “for a better dog’s life…”

PLEASE: No Choke Chains, Prong Collars or E Collars allowed in class.
We recommend – Flat Collars, The Wonder Walker Harness or Gentle Leader (all sold at The Barking Dog). Please use a 6 foot
leather or nylon leash, No Flexi (retractable) Leashes allowed. Classes are all Positive Reinforcement -Treat Reward Classes.
MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY: Please let your INSTRUCTOR know if you will be missing a class ahead of time. We are only able to
accommodate make-up classes if we have been alerted ahead of time. Because of the different training calendars that our
classes are on as well as limitation of classroom size, make-up sessions are not always possible. If we have room in another class
and you have let us know ahead of time we will be able to help accommodate a make-up; if there is no space available then a
make-up class is not an option
